Thousands Of Puzzle Pieces
Thousands of discarded puzzle pieces transformed into an incredible sculpture! Is that even possible? Check out 3D works by Jeffrey Wilcox Paclipan at The Plaza Apartments during ArtPrize 2023.
Jeff Paclipan is a multi-disciplinary artist who creates objects with marginalized or discarded materials to instill a new and greater meaning.
Bringing Atlanta Artists to Grand Rapids
Also on display will be the vividly colorful and bold 3D works by Rial Rye, who is featured on the August 2023 cover of Georgia Voice, the premier media source for LGBTQ Georgia.
“Eenhoorn LLC is proud to introduce these two accomplished artists to ArtPrize 2023,” says Travis Tamminga, Senior District Manager at Eenhoorn, LLC. “They have been widely exhibited in New York City, Atlanta, Florida and beyond.” Both artists are based near Atlanta, Georgia.
The works will be exhibited at 201 Fulton Street West in Grand Rapids, Michigan from September 14th through October 1st during official ArtPrize opening hours. This venue is located just steps away from the Grand River, the Grand Rapids Art Museum, and major Grand Rapids hotels. During ArtPrize, our venue’s modern lobby will be transformed into a spacious exhibition gallery.
Supporting Local Communities Through Art
Eenhoorn has a proud history of supporting the arts in the many communities where the company operates. In 2020, Eenhoorn published the book Only Love Can Do That to capture the many temporary murals created in the streets of Downtown Grand Rapids following the Black Lives Matter demonstrations.
Supporting the arts is part of Eenhoorn’s ongoing commitment to set new standards for superior services for our residents. Eenhoorn is excited to welcome these talented artists to The Plaza Apartments and support ArtPrize 2023.
