Rooted in Growth: Eenhoorn Expands Community Gardening Efforts for 2025
Growing Together & Growing Green
Now in its fourth successful year, the Eenhoorn community garden program continues to thrive, offering residents a unique opportunity to connect with nature and their neighbors. With a collective total of 1,117 square feet of garden space cultivated across four states in 2024, the program demonstrates Eenhoorn’s commitment to sustainable living and community engagement. Plans are already in place to expand this initiative in 2025, reinforcing its role as a cornerstone of Eenhoorn’s resident-focused lifestyle.
Harvesting Health and Sustainability
Community gardens provide more than fresh produce—they foster healthier habits and sustainable practices. By reducing the carbon footprint associated with long-distance food transport and avoiding synthetic pesticides, these gardens contribute to a greener planet. Moreover, spending time outdoors gardening promotes physical activity and mental well-being for residents. As one Westfield Club Apartments (MI) Property Manager observed, “Our community garden brings residents together to grow their own vegetables and support pollinators like bees. Plus, it’s beautiful!”
