Arbor Day Foundation Update: 50,000 Trees Planted
Environmental Stewardship
At Eenhoorn, sustainability is more than just a statement—it is an integral part of how we operate. We are committed to responsible environmental stewardship, focusing on both conservation and regeneration. In 2021, we began working with the Arbor Day Foundation to support reforestation efforts, and since then, our contributions have helped plant 50,000 trees nationwide.
Impacting Michigan Forests
Through our partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, Eenhoorn makes it possible to plant five trees for every approved application. This approach allows us to make a measurable environmental impact in forests of great need while also giving our residents an opportunity to contribute to a broader sustainability effort. Thanks to the participation of those who live in or have lived in an Eenhoorn community, we have been able to support meaningful reforestation projects across the country.
This year, we will be planting trees in Northern Michigan as part of the Michigan State Forest and Good Neighbor Authority Reforestation project. These trees, including native jack and red pines, will help restore important habitats for threatened and vulnerable wildlife species.

50,000 Trees Planted
As a Michigan-based company, we are especially proud to support projects that contribute to our home state’s natural environment. Sustainability is an ongoing effort, and while it can sometimes seem like a broad challenge, small, consistent actions—whether at the corporate or individual level—can make a real difference.
With 50,000 trees now planted, we look forward to continuing our work with the Arbor Day Foundation and supporting the growth of healthier forests for generations to come.
