Working Together, Coast to Coast

During National Outreach Week 2025, Eenhoorn team members across the country united to serve their communities through a variety of hands-on volunteer projects. In North Carolina, volunteers supported the Emily Allen Wildflower Preserve by pulling weeds, removing old drainage debris, and setting up the educational classroom.

Out west, our California team partnered with CoastKeepers for a beach cleanup at Huntington Beach, helping to protect the coastline and marine life. Meanwhile in Wisconsin, the Madison team worked hard at the Toki Middle School and Orchard Ridge Elementary School Forest—clearing brush, repairing signage, and maintaining the grounds for students to enjoy.

Rooted in Local Impact

In Michigan, several teams took on local projects with the same enthusiasm and care. Our Grand Rapids volunteers split into two groups: one assisted Kid’s Food Basket with food prep and lunch assembly for local children, while the other joined LGROW to clean up along the Grand River.

In Portage, the Southwest Michigan team partnered with Kalamazoo in Bloom to plant flowers at the Portage District Library, creating a welcoming and colorful space for the community. In Lansing, our volunteers supported the Greater Lansing Food Bank by distributing food and other essential items to neighbors in need.

A Heart for Service Across Communities

Our Monroe team brought their talents to the Monroe Humane Society, where they rebuilt flower beds, assembled dog crates, cleaned up the grounds, and assisted with animal care. Each project this week was a reflection of Eenhoorn’s continued commitment to service, compassion, and supporting the communities we live and work in. We’re proud of our teams for stepping up and making a lasting impact during this year’s National Outreach Week.

At Eenhoorn, service is more than what we do—it’s part of who we are. National Outreach Week is a meaningful reminder that when we come together with purpose, we can make a real difference. Whether it’s planting gardens, preparing meals, or preserving natural spaces, our teams proudly go beyond the workplace to support the well-being of our communities across the country.
