Compelling pastels, oils, water colour sketches and 3D installations made with lollipops and meat trays make up the international exhibition at the downtown Plaza Apartments venue during ArtPrize 2024. As always, entrance is free.
Property management and investment firm Eenhoorn LLC, recently purchased the former Van Andel Pavilion at Fulton Manor through an affiliate entity. Plans for the building, located at 1450 E Fulton Street, include redevelopment to help address the shortage of affordable and stable housing options for the city’s vulnerable populations.
Crain’s Grand Rapids Business – “Eenhoorn’s plan for the building includes 42 fully furnished “micro apartments” to house one person each. Each apartment will include a kitchenette, bathroom, and living and sleeping quarters, situated around two central courtyards.”
WOODTV – “What was once senior living will soon become a place for people to live as they seek permanent housing, thanks to a collaboration between Eenhoorn, LLC and a local nonprofit.”
WGVU – “Through a partnership with Grand Rapids real estate investment and property management firm Eenhoorn and Community Rebuilders, a nonprofit committed to ending homelessness, the property at 1450 E. Fulton Street will provide 40 people with short-term stable housing.”
