Each year, the Eenhoorn team participates in community outreach events for National Outreach week. Though we are spread across the United States and the Netherlands, we all come together to give back in a tangible way.
Crain’s Grand Rapids Business – “Eenhoorn’s plan for the building includes 42 fully furnished “micro apartments” to house one person each. Each apartment will include a kitchenette, bathroom, and living and sleeping quarters, situated around two central courtyards.”
WOODTV – “What was once senior living will soon become a place for people to live as they seek permanent housing, thanks to a collaboration between Eenhoorn, LLC and a local nonprofit.”
WGVU – “Through a partnership with Grand Rapids real estate investment and property management firm Eenhoorn and Community Rebuilders, a nonprofit committed to ending homelessness, the property at 1450 E. Fulton Street will provide 40 people with short-term stable housing.”
WZZM – “Investment firm Eenhoorn LLC partnered with nonprofit Community Rebuilders to redevelop the former retirement home on Fulton Street East.”
MLive — “A vacant building on Fulton Street in Grand Rapids would be transformed into a temporary homeless shelter with 42 micro apartments under a partnership between the nonprofit group Community Rebuilders and real estate investment firm Eenhoorn.”
Residents have already seen a decrease in overall monthly expenditures from 2022 to 2023 since the “go live” date in October 2023. The expenses are anticipated to continue to decrease as these systems run fully through a year cycle. The mini-split systems overall have saved approximately 88,427kwh of electric consumption year over year property-wide!
